Jeremy Le Grice has been fully committed to painting since the age of nine. This activity took precedence over academic studies to the extent that he had learnt to paint in oils and to draw proficiently by the time he left school. His commitment to Cornwall was equally strong where he spent all his holidays whilst at The Slade. He moved here permanently in the sixties with his young family to St Just, a remote village on the exposed North Coast close to Lands End. He painted there throughout that decade where he first made his name as an artist. Since when he has consistently drawn his artistic inspiration from the remarkable land in West Cornwall and its surrounding seas. more >>
