Jessica Cooper’s beautiful, minimal canvases have been winning the admiration of the public and curators for almost twenty years now. Their quiet, understated powerhas led to her recognition by the Royal West of England Academy and her inclusion in the prestigious Art Now exhibition at the Tate St Ives.
A graduate of Falmouth School of Art and Goldsmiths College, as well as exhibiting widely in throughout the UK, Cooper is an elected member and has been vice chair of Newlyn Society of Artists, has been a tutor at the Eden Project and Educational Co-ordinator at Newlyn Art Gallery, also a mentor on the Graduate Mentoring Scheme at the Tate St Ives.
Her work is held in numerous private collections in Europe and the USA and several British public collections.
