Of Norwegian origin, Kristin Vestgård studied for her degree at Falmouth College of Art. She sold all her paintings in her degree show, with Falmouth College purchasing the largest work for their own collection.

Captivated by her paintings, galleries in London and Cornwall clamoured for her work. Since graduating she has exhibited in London, in her native Norway at the Kihle Gallery in Horten and of course at Badcocks Gallery in Newlyn, Cornwall.
Kristins exhibitions have always been received with great enthusiasm, frequently selling out.
Her career as a serious and respected young artist is continuing to grow.

Successful exhibitions now enable Kristin to paint everyday. From her studio in Redruth, Kristin is creating her magical world of quirky and poetic figures, working with the spaces around these figures, telling their peculiar stories.

The paintings do not demand attention, they occupy their own space with a quiet dignity and beauty. They are sensitive works that tell their own stories and hold their own emotions.
